Meet Your Divorce Strategist

About Kathryn Beachy

—Santa Fe, New Mexico

There is a version of life on the other side of divorce that most people don't believe is possible when they're in the middle of it. A version where you wake up and your first thought isn't about your ex. Where you recognize yourself again. Where love — for yourself and eventually for others — feels real and available rather than distant and dangerous.

I know that version exists. Because I've lived it. And because I've had the privilege of walking hundreds of people toward it over the past decade.

I'm Kathryn Beachy — and helping people rebuild their lives after divorce is not just what I do. It is what I was made for.

The Strategy of Survival

My Story

”

I didn't come to this work from an online training or a certification alone. I came through my own fire.

The end of my marriage cracked me open in ways I wasn't prepared for. Suddenly I was navigating the grief, the identity loss, the fear of starting over, the complicated terrain of co-parenting, and the quiet devastation of a future I had imagined that no longer existed.

In the chaos of that litigation, I trusted verbal promises, only to realize too late that the written parenting plan—which he wrote—superseded everything. That document became the rigid dictator of my life with my children. I learned that legal text matters down to the placement of a comma, and that an agreement is only as good as your co-parent’s willingness to honor it.

I was a yoga and meditation instructor — I had tools, frameworks, and training — and I still needed support to find my way through.

What I discovered in that process changed everything about how I work. I learned that divorce recovery doesn't happen in the thinking mind alone. It happens in the body. In the nervous system. In the slow, consistent, deeply human work of rebuilding your sense of self from the inside out.

That discovery became my mission. And it is the foundation of everything I bring to this work.

Trained in a
Proven Method

As a certified facilitator, I utilize Dr. Bruce Fisher's renowned Rebuilding methodology—an evidence-based approach that has guided over a million people through divorce recovery. At the core of this practice is the RIFT Recovery framework, ensuring every session is grounded in psychological safety, structured progression, and proven healing strategies.

EXPERIENCE & EXPERTISE

My Experience

I have been a certified divorce and transformational coach for over a decade — working with individuals, couples, and groups through some of the most tender and significant transitions of their lives.

For the past three and a half years I have worked directly with Rebuilders International as both a 1:1 coach and group facilitator — walking people through the proven Rebuilders framework that has guided over 300,000 people through divorce recovery since 1981.

I have sat with people in their darkest moments and witnessed them emerge — not just recovered, but genuinely transformed.

My approach is not only talk-therapy based. It is also somatic, embodied, and nervous system informed. Alongside the Rebuilders framework I bring:

01

Somatic Coaching

Working with the body's intelligence to move what the mind alone cannot reach.

02

Breathwork

Using breath as a direct portal into the nervous system for release, regulation, and renewal.

03

IFS Parts Work

Getting curious about the protective parts that keep people stuck and helping them relax their grip.

04

Self Love Frameworks

Reconnecting people to their sense of worth, their feminine or masculine energy, and their capacity to love and be loved.

03

IFS Parts Work

Getting curious about the protective parts that keep people stuck and helping them relax their grip.

I hold certifications in life coaching, executive coaching, emotional IQ, and relationship coaching — and bring over two decades of yoga, meditation, and mind-body wellness practice to every session and group I facilitate.

Community & place

Why Santa Fe

I relocated to Santa Fe, New Mexico to bring this work to a community I believe is deeply ready for it.

Santa Fe has long been a place that draws seekers, healers, and people in the middle of significant life transitions. The land itself carries something — an ancient stillness, a quality of light, a spaciousness that invites people to slow down, go inward, and face what they've been carrying. There is no better backdrop for the work of rebuilding.

I emptied my nest of my three amazing children and loaded up my car from Evergreen, CO to join my parents and siblings in this land of enchantment. It has been calling for many years, and I was finally in a place to say YES!

My vision is to build a thriving local Rebuilders community here — weekly support groups, workshops, immersive retreats, and private coaching — so that people navigating divorce in the Santa Fe area have access to real, proven, transformational support right in their own backyard.

Whether you are newly separated, months into the process, or years out and still feeling stuck — there is a place for you here.

My Life

Outside the Work

”

I am a mother of three — and anyone who has navigated divorce with children knows that the stakes of healing are not just personal. The work I do with my clients, I have also had to do as a parent. Showing up regulated, present, and grounded for my kids while I was rebuilding myself was the hardest and most important work of my life. It gave me a depth of understanding for the parents I work with that no training could have provided.

I live in Santa Fe with my golden lab, Percy — who has been my loyal companion through many chapters of this transition and reminds me daily of the simple medicine of unconditional love and being present.

Outside of work you'll find me hiking the high desert trails around Santa Fe, practicing yoga, going to live music, dancing whenever there's an opportunity, or planning my next adventure. I am a traveler at heart — I believe deeply that movement, beauty, and new landscapes are some of the most potent forms of healing available to us.

I try to live what I teach. Not perfectly — but honestly. And that honesty is what I bring into every room I walk into.

A Note to You

If you found your way to this page, I don't think it was an accident.

Something in you is looking for more than surviving this. Something in you knows that the version of your life you want — the one where you are free, present, and genuinely yourself again — is still available. It hasn't been taken from you by the divorce. It is waiting for you on the other side of the work.

I would be honored to walk that with you.

Reach out anytime. I read every message personally. And I will be honest with you about whether and how I can help.
